Nadia Sefcovic Chopra

Nadia Sefcovic Chopra, PT, DPT, COMT is the founder of Mend Physical Therapy.  Nadia has been practicing as a physical therapist in an out-patient orthopedic physical therapy setting, specializing in manual therapy and dance medicine since 2006. As a former modern dancer, Nadia always had an interest in the human body and movement.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance from The Ohio State University in 2002.  Following her dance career, Nadia received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the New York Medical College in 2006.

Nadia has pursued post graduate manual therapy training through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).   There, she earned the credentials certified manual physical therapist (CMPT) and a certified orthopedic manipulative therapist (COMT).  She has completed extensive post graduate coursework in the areas of manual therapy, movement awareness & education, biomechanical analysis, differential diagnosis, visceral mobilization, real time ultra sound, and exercise training.  It is Nadia's belief that continually evolving her education allows her to best meet her clients needs and help them achieve their goals efficiently.

Nadia feels unbelievably lucky to love her profession.  She enjoys that each patient and diagnosis is different and this is what drives her to solve problems- finding out what the root cause of the problem is, mending it, and preventing further damage and injury.
